Alumni Scott Stratton leads Shippensburg University Women's Team to the National Division 2 Championship. This is the first national title for Ship. They defeated the University of Minnesota- Duluth by a final of 47-0.

Alumni Association officially forms and starts process to become a 501(c)3 tax exempt corporation under the IRS guidelines.
