Alumni Scott Stratton leads Shippensburg University Women's Team to back to back Division 2 National Championships. This is the first national title for Ship. They defeated Stonehill College by a final of 29-5.

Alumni Association officially forms and starts process to become a 501(c)3 tax exempt corporation under the IRS guidelines.
